Joey's FlyFishing Foundation was established in 2007 to reach out to youth and teach patience, confidence, respect and relationships through qualified, monitored mentoring and flyfishing!
Through mentorship and the successful mastery of the activities provided, these children will develop greater self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-discipline.
Joey's FlyFishing Foundation collaborates with youth service agencies, schools, regional businesses, churches, and volunteer mentors to promote self-advocacy and problem-solving skills that help foster positive life training and a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, children learn strategies that help them avoid substance abuse through involvement with positive mentoring, skill building, and the enjoyment of flyfishing - a lifelong activity.
Joey's FlyFishing Foundation is a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status.
